Amaryllis belladonna(Amaryllidaceae)

€10.00

Bulb – also known as ‘Jersey Lily’

Grows best in full sun, in moist but well drained soil – the same conditions as nerines and amarines.

Confusingly, hippeastrum bulbs (which are grown indoors for winter display) are often referred to as ‘amaryllis’ but are a completely different plant.  Amaryllis belladonna flowers in late summer on bare stems – fragrant showy pink blooms.
