A hardy perennial plant, native to Mediterranean regions and Central Asia. This sage is characterised by large, woolly leaves arranged in a basal rosette and upright floral stems, resembling candelabras, adorned with white flowers in dense spikes. Capable of reaching a height of 1m, it is highly decorative, floriferous, and honey-producing. Best planted in full sun, in well-drained soil, even limestone and very dry in summer, ideally rocky. Hardiness: down to -15°C in dry soil.
