April has been a busy month at Tantalus. All the usual tasks suddenly took on a new urgency – seed sowing, potting on, hardening off.
Division of stock plants continued and we added some new perennials to our trial patch. Cut flower sales were confined to narcissus, tulips and ranunculus as local shops and some of the designer cohort became more active.
The permaculture students finished off their work placement endeavours and faced the far more daunting prospect of exams.
And, of course, we finally went live with this, our new website. It will take (quite) a while to enter all the plant data for our online sales section so it will be worth the occasional re-visit to see what’s new and available.
